Overview of Evolution EMR
Evolution EMR can store all information on patients including comprehensive demographics, medical histories, encounters, orders, etc. This system contains all the logic needed to access, analyze, search, and archive vast amounts of patient data instantaneously at the point-of-care. Information stored in Evolution EMR can be accessed wirelessly from most mobile devices (e.g., PDAs, tablets, laptops, smart phones, etc.).
The system includes handheld and browser-based software for clinicians, ancillary staff members, and patients. This software connects wirelessly to a centralized clinical data repository that securely archives all patient charts in compliance with current HIPAA standards.
A patient's entire medical record can be viewed from anywhere in the office! The secure clinical data repository stores the patient's demographics, problem list, medication list, allergy list, immunizations list, a complete history (HPIs, PFSH, ROS), vital signs, dictations, prescriptions and it even has a past interaction log detailing previous encounters, diagnoses, procedures, and orders.
Evolution EMR frees clinicians from administrative burdens and enables the practice to focus on their central mission of caring for patients. Evolution EMR includes numerous clinical and administrative productivity tools that save time, cut costs, and help reduce medical errors.
Finally, the browser-based software includes patient registration and history forms. Patients can use a kiosk setup in the waiting room to fill out these forms, or the front-desk personnel can enter the information after patients have filled out paper-based forms. Once this data has been entered into the system, it can be accessed from any handheld device or workstation in the office. With the optional patient relationship management module of Evolution EMR, patients can securely fill out these forms using the practice's Website. Letting patients enter their data directly into Evolution EMR eliminates double data-entry, which means less work for you!

About Ethidium's E-Health Platform
Evolution EMR is part of the Ethidium Health Systems' E-Health platform. Ethidium's E-Health Platform was built using some of the most advanced hardware, software, and broadband wireless technologies available today. Our system runs on most operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux, as well as most mobile devices, such as PDAs, tablets, laptops, smart phones. Ethidium has devoted significant effort to the development of simple and intuitive graphical user interfaces that empower novices to rapidly become expert users of our system. To ensure the E-Health Platform's longevity, all components of our system were built using open national and international standards (e.g., XML, HTTP) and mainstream programming languages (e.g., C++, Java). Our n-tiered distributed architecture makes the customization and integration of our platform quick and easy. Finally, our customers can feel safe about their clinical data knowing that the entire E-Health Platform has been built to ensure compliance with the security and privacy provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
